About Cheryl Amato

Cheryl is founder and drector Montessori Waves Preschool and Crèche. From a young age, Cheryl knew that she wanted to work with children. She developed an early passion for the creative arts which dovetailed her Montessori studies. More than a decade ago, she  studied at Montessori Center International (MCI) in London and some years later she did her early childhood degree at the University of Chichester . This creative passion blended with the Montessori Skills, form the foundation of the Montessori Waves magic that is delivered in our classroom on a daily basis.

She has been working in the Early Childhood Education sector mostly in various Montessori schools in the United Kingdom for more than fourteen years. She has also created other montessori preschool in Clapham London. She has experience as being a Montessori teacher and a manager in the sector. Being a passionate and assertive person, she possesses a diverse of characteristics and skills to effectively run and oversee a nursery or childcare facility. 

Her Vision is to deliver a truly child centred Montessori education to the children. Creating Montessori Waves preschool and crèche,  is a way to contribute to the society to make a better world  where Montessori education can empower our next generation to be a citizen of the world. By being happier, more fulfilled and better able to make a positive difference to their family, their community and the planet.
